I’ve always been obsessed with literature. From teaching myself to read at the age of four to getting my bachelor’s degree in Russian Language and Literature, that deep interest has guided nearly everything I do. So I took it as a given that I would end up working with books in some way or another.
Once I started learning my first foreign language, German, I realized I had a knack for languages and have been working toward a career in literary translation ever since. A few years later, I grew to love Russian literature, so in college I began learning Russian and it quickly became my passion. After four years of study, I graduated magna cum laude from Beloit College, including one semester at  Russian State University for the Humanities.
After college, I spent a few years living in Krasnodar, Russia working as an English teacher where I improved my grasp of spoken and colloquial Russian while also doing small translation jobs on the side. In that time, another language and culture caught my eye and I began intensively studying Brazilian Portuguese. Once satisfied with my fluency in Russian, I moved to São Paulo, Brazil for two years where I dramatically improved my grasp of Portuguese and started supplementing my now full-time work in Russian translation with clients from Brazil.
After hopping from one small job to the next for some time, I started to fill my schedule with book projects, mostly in the emerging genre of LitRPG. At present, I have twenty-one books published, and the reviews have been great. None have less than four stars on Amazon, and almost all have sold prolifically. All in all, it’s been a great experience working with popular literature so far, and I hope to continue for the foreseeable future while also expanding my horizons.
